The Oregonian featured Knudsen Vineyards in a piece recapping the history of our vineyard and our long standing relationship with Erath Winery. The article announced the closing of Erath’s tasting room on our property and its transition back to our family’s ownership and management.
For 33 years, Erath Winery has been our valued tenant, operating their business from the middle of our vineyard. With the lease expiring at the end of this month, we will begin transforming the space into a Knudsen Vineyards tasting room, slated to open in late May/early June.
“Calling it the ‘most exciting chapter’ for Knudsen Vineyards, [Page Knudsen] Cowles says, ‘I’m 64-years old, and this feels like a once-in-a-lifetime event that takes 49-years of history in a new direction.'” wrote Michael Alberty.
Closing out his piece with “a gem of a quote” in Alberty’s own words, from our neighbor Martha Maresh of Maresh Vineyards (the oldest vineyard in the Dundee Hills established in 1970)—we invite you to read Alberty’s article from The Oregonian by clicking this link.
We look forward to welcoming you to our tasting room this summer!
